How do I create an account with LAYERED PRO?
If you would like to become a PRO MEMEBER and enjoy the benefits of partnering with us, we have a thorough approval process. Follow the steps in the application HERE, and we will get back to you with details within a few days.
Do I need an account to place an order?
Yes, to access the PRO PORTAL and place an order, an approved business account is required.

Can I order samples before purchasing?
Yes, we offer samples in two different sizes, depending on the stage of your project.
SAMPLE SIZE 50 x 50 CM:
Recommended for patterned rugs or rugs with varying pile heights and textures, providing a clear and representative preview of the design and material.
SAMPLE SIZE 11 x 18 CM:
Ideal when the focus is solely on verifying color choice and quality.

What happens if an item is out of stock?
As a verified PRO MEMEBER, you have access to real-time inventory, and we strive to keep all stock information as accurate as possible to help you plan your projects with confidence.
If a product is out of stock, you will often still be able to order it with a longer lead time, which will be clearly indicated on the product page.
If it is not possible to add the item to your basket, or if the product is marked as Sold Out or Temporarily Out of Stock, it means that the item will not return to stock, or we currently do not have information on if or when it might become available again.
Can I pre-order or reserve an item that’s unavailable?
You can place a pre-order for items stated as available in the portal; however, you are not able to reserve any items without placing an order.

Is shedding normal for LAYERED rugs?
In the initial period, your rug may shed noticeable fuzz — this is completely normal and not a manufacturing defect. All tufted rugs experience some shedding when new. To minimise this, we recommend vacuuming regularly during the first six months. Over time, shedding will reduce significantly, though a small amount may continue throughout the rug’s life.
Can LAYERED rugs be washed?
We always recommend you take your rug to a professional rug cleaner that performs level wash. When dry cleaning, it’s important that no chemicals containing trichlorethylene are used.
Can LAYERED rugs be used with underfloor heating?
Most of our rugs are suitable for underfloor heating, but we recommend using a protective layer between the rug and the floor. For more information about the specific rug you plan to order, please contact our customer service.

DELIVERY & RETURNS
Do you offer international shipping?
Yes, shipping costs vary and will be calculated at checkout. Please note that orders shipped outside the Europe, United Kingdom, Norway, Switzerland, and the United States may be subject to import taxes and duties.
Are taxes and duties included in my order total?
All prices in our shop include applicable sales tax. Depending on your shipping destination, LAYERED ships using Delivered Duty Paid (DDP), which means we take care of all import duties, tariffs, and shipping costs. This ensures that the price you see at checkout is the price you pay, with no unexpected fees upon delivery.
Can I choose a specific delivery date?
Unfortunately, it’s not possible to select a specific delivery date or time. However, once your order leaves LAYERED’s warehouse, you’ll receive a tracking link so you can follow your order and stay informed about its expected arrival.
How long does delivery take?
For standard rugs in stock, 5–10 business days.
For bespoke rugs, 14-19 weeks.
The delivery time is indicated on each product page for every size. Please note that all our rugs are handmade, and the estimated delivery time is approximate. Rest assured, we make every effort to adhere to the stated delivery timeframe.
How do you ship the rugs?
All rugs are carefully rolled along the shortest side for shipping. The only exception is our Shaggy rugs, which are folded and delivered in a box.
Does delivery include help with carrying the items inside?
All deliveries are made to the gate or property boundary; no carrying service is included.
How can I track my order once it has shipped?
You will receive an email with tracking information so you can follow your shipment every step of the way.
What is your return policy?
We offer a 30-day return policy for our Trade Customers, including items at regular price, blankets, cushions, and rugs in standard sizes. Products purchased from our Archive (i.e. items at a reduced price) have a 14-day return period. Made-to-order items, such as custom-sized rugs, are not eligible for return. We also do not accept returns of samples.
The return policy does not include Wholesale partners.
