Refund policy
For Wholesale:
LAYERED does not accept returns unless the products are found to be defective upon receipt. Defective claims must be submitted in writing within two (2) days of delivery. Upon inspection and validation of the defect by the Supplier, the Customer may be entitled to a replacement or refund, at the Supplier's discretion. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.
For Trade:
Standard size rugs:
We offer a 30-day return policy on our standard size rugs. To be eligible for a return, the rug must be in unused condition, with all original labels attached and free from damage or signs of use. Please note that you are responsible for ensuring the item is securely packaged for return – LAYERED does not provide return packaging. A return shipping fee will apply and will be deducted from your refund. See the section on return shipping fees below for more details.
Custom orders (bespoke), furniture and samples:
We do not accept returns on furniture, samples, or bespoke orders. You have a 3-day cancellation period from the time your order is placed. During this period, you may contact us to cancel your order, provided that production has not yet begun. If production is already in progress, the cancellation right no longer applies and the order cannot be changed or refunded.
How to make a return:
Step 1: Register return

Include name, address, order number, and details.
Step 2: Prepare the package
Pack the item carefully to prevent any damage during transit. You are responsible for ensuring the product is securely packaged and returned in good condition.
Place the return receipt inside the package.
Attach the return label visibly on the outside of the package.
Step 3: Send back the package
A carrier will collect the package at the agreed date and time.
Step 4: Refund
Once we have received and inspected your return, the refund is usually processed within 5–10 business days—provided the item is in approved condition. The return shipping cost will be deducted from the refund.

Claims (Reclamations):
If your item is defective or damaged, you have the right to file a claim. You are entitled to a 3-year warranty under applicable consumer protection laws. To submit a claim, you will need your order number and a valid receipt from LAYERED AB.

For the claim to be approved, the issue must be covered by the warranty, meaning it must be a clear manufacturing defect or damage that occurred during delivery. Claims due to stains, wear and tear, or damage caused by use – such as from furniture or other external factors – will not be approved.
